ItalRental has come up with USALO!, a new operational rent model that overcomes the current limitations of the solutions offered by the market and brings some of the flexibility and leading innovations born in the car rental market.
Operational rent solutions have always struggled to gain a foothold in the world of production machinery due to the impossibility of matching the duration of the rental to the life cycle of the assets and the technical characteristics of the rental contract, which cannot provide any right on the purchase of the assets for the customer.
It is starting from these aspect, ItalRental’s proposal of a unique contractual framework characterised by three innovative ideas was born:
1. Use the assets as much as you like…
The duration of the contract is 108 months, with tacit renewal on expiry at a reduced fee. The customer may therefore decide to use the asset for as long as he wishes, without the obligation to return it at the end of the contract, or to terminate the contract early at any time.
2. The more you use them, the less you pay…
The rental fee is linked to the real and current value of the asset and decreases year by year, following its natural degradation/consumption during use. In the USALO! contract, a percentage of degradation of the asset is therefore assumed, according to which the amount of the fee decreases in the following year.
3. And if you use them well, you might earn!
If the customer decides to withdraw from the contract, they’re completely flexible and may submit to ItalRental an offer to purchase the good from a third party. The amount collected shall reduce in full the withdrawal cost owed by the customer and if higher the surplus shall be shared.
The combination of these three ideas lend the USALO! unprecedented flexibility that allows the customer to handle different scenarios during the life of the contract, depending on the contingent situations the company will face.
