Smart Protections inherited 10 years ago the legacy of a historical company active since 1963, leader in the field of pneumatics and fluid handling, a reference in the worldwide supply of high-tech extruded products, offering a full range of tubes in polyamide, polyurethane, polyethylene and other thermoplastic materials.
In addition to tube extrusion, Smart Protections has specialized in the production of hydraulic hose protections. In addition to the classic anti-abrasion spiral wraps, the range also includes textile sleeves (nylon, polyester), and firesleeves. The company also manufactures a special line that meets the requirements of EN 45545-2:2015 for risk levels HL1, HL2 and HL3, for sets of requirements R22 and R23.

Smart Protections has an internal laboratory with sophisticated equipment that allows testing of both incoming raw materials and finished products, operating within a system certified ISO 9001 and ISO14001.
Specific tests are performed in collaboration with customers: identification of the type of polymer by DSC (Differential Scanner Calorimeter) and infrared spectroscopy techniques, rheological characterisation of raw materials, burst pressure tests according to different temperatures are only a few examples. Our operating system records and stores all results so that they can be analysed and processed, thus ensuring product traceability to guarantee an integrated quality system.
Smart Protections also ensures that all products comply with the health and environmental requirements of the European Union (REACH, ROHs etc.).
