Bentivoglio family in 1980 acquired the GMG brand natural evolution of the MERLI experience, historical factory for the production of parallel lathes in Pavia. Now the headquarter is in Rovato (Brescia) on 36.000 m2.

All the basements come from primary Italian foundry.

The 2 guides solution with double prism, monolithic bed plus third guide under the carriage:

  • MEMO 500-600 mm over the carriage (bed width 550 mm; 6-10 ton).
  • MASTER 700-900 mm over the carriage (bed width 750 mm; 10-15 ton).
  • MAXIM 1000-1250 mm over the carriage (bed width 950 mm; 20-25 ton).

And the biggest 2 guides model with flat guide (section 280 mm):

  • MAGISTER 1400-1600 mm over the carriage (bed width 1200 mm; 25-30 ton).

Then the 3 guides models with independent steady rest line from carriage one:

  • MAGIC 3 MEMO 600-800 mm over the carriage (bed width 800 mm; 10 ton).
  • MAGIC 3 1400-1600 mm over the carriage (bed width 1500 mm; 25-30 ton).

At the end the 4 guides models with 2 separated bed:

  • MAGIC 4 2000 mm over the carriage (30-40 ton).
  • MAGIC 4 2500 mm over the carriage (50-60 ton).

According to the size of machining we can provide C axis, (even through 2 gear motors on the spindle), milling unit Y axis from +/- 60 mm to +/- 500 mm, B axis through rotary table or automatic milling head, changing unit pallet for turning, milling, grinding, boring bar.

MAKE boring-milling production company started in 1995 coming from a long historical experience and today is leader of Italian machines with thermo-symmetrical double column which centrally incorporates the spindle (BOX IN BOX system). Where you find on Y vertical axis 2 frontal guides plus 2 guides on the rear opposite side (plus the preload cylinders on the 4 back runners) and double ball screws. More the RAM come out through 4 guides and 2 active moto hydraulic ties rods on hydraulic proportional system plus 2 special motors recover the gravitational flexion and the elasticity of the cast-iron.

More the compensation system for bending and the thermal expansion of the RAM are managed by a special material (insensitive to the temperature) large used in the aerospace field.
