HILTI will be one of the key players at the second edition of RobotHeart. What motivated you to participate again?
HILTI was created for the construction world – still the focus of the company – and, for about ten years now, it has been expanding its activities in the sectors of machine tools and robotics, with a dedicated team of account managers and engineers, thus becoming a highly innovative, cutting-edge enterprise. For this reason, RobotHeart of BI-MU has become an unmissable opportunity for us. We are very confident about the success of our participation: the importance of the event, hosted in the halls of 34.BI-MU, will allow us to meet numerous operators and present our complete product offering in the best way.
What do you expect in particular from this event?
The event of next October, a place of attraction for high-profile exhibitors and visitors, will undoubtedly give us the opportunity to consolidate our position as innovation leaders, even in the sector of industrial technologies, as well as to strengthen our strategic partnerships and expand our network of contacts. In addition, thanks to the innovations on show, the exhibition will represent a “showcase of the future”, capable of offering a comprehensive overview of the market and anticipate the future trends in our industry. All this makes our participation very beneficial for us.
What will visitors find at your stand? Can you reveal any details yet?
At our stand, our solutions dedicated to the world of robotics will be in the spotlight, with a special focus on industrial fastening systems and electro tools for installation and production. In particular, we will give high visibility to our tools of the new Nuron platform, which is characterized by maximum efficiency, precision and attention to sustainability. Moreover, at our stand, we will offer our expertise to support customers with regard to the world of anchors certified according to the highest standards, such as fatigue-testing certified anchors for securing robotic systems, a field with continuously updated legislative requirements. Thanks to our team of experts, indeed, we are able to provide all the necessary information to keep up with the regulatory changes and operate in full compliance of the regulations.

Among your sectors of application, which do you think are the most dynamic and active at the moment?
Construction, automation and machine tools are undoubtedly the three most dynamic fields at present. Indeed, driven by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the building and construction sector has grown remarkably, particularly in the areas of sustainable construction and energy efficiency refurbishment. On the other hand, as it is now well-known, today, automation is an essential factor, even in sectors with little digitalisation like ours. Therefore, thanks to the acquisition of an American company last year, we have launched our FieldWire software, with the purpose of increasing digitalisation in the management of construction sites and incentivise the evolutionary path of the construction industry. Finally, the last-mentioned sector, machine tools, experienced exponential growth in the post-Covid period and keeps on achieving good results, as confirmed by the numerous orders we consistently receive, both from Italy and abroad.
HILTI is also at the forefront in the field of sustainability. Can you tell us about your plans in this regard?
We are an Ecovadis Gold certified company and this makes us very proud. After all, sustainability has always been very important for us, even when it was not such a popular topic as it is today. We are constantly working to optimize our energy efficiency, both in our office work – with digital systems, no printers, attention to consumption – and in the production and operation of our products – with an approach to the circular economy and by devising solutions with reduced environmental impact. Our commitment to the issue of sustainability is not only limited to our business. In fact, we position ourselves as a point of reference for our customers and, thanks to our dedicated company structure, we offer assistance and support for sustainable work management.
In conclusion… what are your predictions for the future of the industry? Will October be a good period for the organization of 34.BI-MU?
With a look at our business and our customers’ results, we can already say that 2024 will be a positive year of steady growth. This trend will make the month of October an excellent time to take part in 34.BI-MU, which, thanks to these premises, will be the ideal event where to highlight the good results achieved during the year and collect orders for 2025.
